Appreciated Stock

When you donate appreciated stock directly to ACT International, you give more — without it costing you more. Instead of selling shares and paying taxes on the gain, you transfer them directly and let the full value go to work in the field.

  • Avoid capital gains tax on the appreciated value of your shares

  • Receive a deduction equal to the stock's full fair market value

  • Direct your gift to any ACT missionary or the Global Mission Home Office fund

IRA / Qualified Charitable Distribution

Your IRA can be one of the most effective tools for charitable giving — at any age. For those 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is especially powerful, allowing you to give directly from your IRA without the gift increasing your taxable income.

  • Donors 70½+: QCDs count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)

  • No taxable income increase — the gift bypasses your adjusted gross income entirely

  • All ages: IRA withdrawals donated to ACT may qualify as charitable deductions depending on your tax situation

Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

If you have a Donor-Advised Fund, recommending a grant to ACT International is simple and flexible. No checks. No receipts. Just a direct line from your fund to the mission field — on your schedule.

  • Direct support to any ACT missionary or departmental fund
